National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) is an orchestrated combination, management and maintenance and efficient integration of standards, technologies, measures, implementation rules, services, human resources as well as national culture, law, economic system, social order and other factors to enable governmental, private institutions, crowd and individuals share spatial data.

NSDI provides services to governmental bodies, business, industry, research institutes, NGOs and ordinary individuals for viewing, discovery and use of spatial data.

Although the implementation of NSDI is a consecutive sequence of technical processes, Aperigae reconizes that the realization is very much dependent on national culture, business customs, business culture, law and its implementation, unseen layers of society, success channels in governmental business processes, unwritten rules of security, unseen dominating powers in decision making among others which are sometimes the most important part or NSDI foundation compared to technical challenges.
